Vibratory Tumbling

Vibratory tumbling for a smooth and controlled surface finish

NKC offers vibratory tumbling to deburr, clean, and improve the surface finish of smaller components. Our equipment handles parts up to 250 × 250 × 250 mm and ensures a uniform and reproducible surface treatment—ideal for both series-produced parts and more specialized components.

How it works!

Vibratory tumbling is a mechanical surface finishing process in which components are placed in a vibration-driven bowl together with abrasive media. The vibration creates friction between the parts and the media, resulting in controlled deburring, polishing, or surface cleaning.

At NKC, the choice of media and processing time is tailored to the material, requirements, and desired final finish. The process is gentle, repeatable, and efficient, making vibratory tumbling ideal for components that require a smooth and uniform surface prior to assembly, surface treatment, or further machining.
